Go-To Hairstyle: I'm obsessed with claw clips because they are so cute and simple, but I've been getting into overnight heatless curls and I LOVE IT!!

My Hair Journey: I love having curly hair because it represents my identify as a biracial girl! I love wearing my hair curly because it’s part of who I am and represents my different sides of culture! I used to straighten my hair all the time because I wasn’t all that confident in wearing it curly.

Today, I’m happy to say that I rarely straighten my hair on the occasion and I’m really happy with my curly hair! My message for other people is to embrace your hair no matter what hair type you have and to be confident in the hair you have because it’s beautiful!

Lauren

Major: Psychology

Go-To Hairstyle: I looooove a good “Utah Curls” moment!!!

Pepperdine University

Major: Education

Go-To Hairstyle: I lighten my hair and spend a lot of time in the saltwater, so I care a lot about keeping it healthy and hydrated, and because of that I have really focused on my hair care routine. It has become more than just hair care and a way for me to care for myself and express myself. I love to wear it naturally, but I also enjoy doing a slicked back bun with a hair mask or blowing it out!

Major: Spanish

My Hair Journey: My hair helps me to feel confident and like my best self! That's why taking care of it is so important to me. Whether I'm wearing my hair natural or styling it, I'm adamant on using the best products to keep it safe and healthy. My hair is a part of what makes me, me!

My Hair Journey: Like most, my hair journey has been quite the roller coaster ride! I have experienced the down slopes of being bullied for my hair texture and feeling insecure about my length. I've faced the difficult, upward climb of the "big chop" and learning how to manage, style and love my natural hair.

Though I think that upward slope is never ending, I have found a passion for styling all types of textures, lengths and colors through wigs while protecting my natural hair underneath. I am still on the journey of finding the perfect wash-and-go routine and the confidence to wear my natural hair...but I'm so excited to add EVA NYC to this ride!

Nova

Major: Media, Journalism, and Film

My Hair Journey: As a woman with 4c hair, learning how to take care of it has been a journey but taking the steps to fail and do better next time has been the most rewarding feeling. Now, taking care of my hair every day is how I take care of myself.

Go-To Hairstyle: Recently, I’ve been waking up and immediately putting my hair up in a claw clip. I’m doing my best to stay off heat during the summer and grow back my natural healthy hair!

Go-To Hairstyle: My favorite go to hair style would have to be a trusty half up half down with a funky cute claw clip! With wavy hair!

Delaney

Go-To Hairstyle: I have had such fine hair and it used to be overall so thin! Eva NYC has been the only brand with products that have made my hair grow better and thicker! My go to hair style is low bun with curled front pieces!
