Our packaging is now even more sustainable! You know and love our 100% recyclable forever aluminum cans, and now we’ve updated our pumps and triggers. Made from post-consumer recycled plastic, Eva NYC’s packaging is now 99% virgin-plastic free! 

What is PCR?

PCR, or post-consumer recycled plastic is plastic that’s been previously in the supply chain and then processed into a resin to create packaging. PCR plastic is a more sustainable alternative to virgin plastic and reduces our carbon footprint to be kinder to the planet! 

Environmentally friendly packaging! 

Here’s the breakdown of our updated pumps and triggers:  

• Shampoo + conditioner pumps: 25% PCR 
• Leave-in cream pumps: 30% PCR 
• Styling spray triggers: 50% PCR 

There are no pumps that are 100% made of PCR, but these components can be recycled and given another life through our partnership with TerraCycle.  

How to use new styling spray triggers

Step 1: Locate the lock closure on the backside of the trigger.  

Step 2: Firmly press the circular button so that it pops through to the opposite side.

Step 3: Spray and firmly press back into the lock position to close!
